My first vintage roadie fix-up

Sure, it still needs cables, chain & bar wrap...but I just couldn't wait to show off. A couple of before and after detail pics of the '85 Panasonic Sport 1000 I'll be selling come Spring with other bikes, including a nearly new Nishiki. This one was sadly neglected but had few miles. Fly in the ointment is a slight TT ding. Dent, shment...if I still can't get over $100 for it there's no justice in the Universe! Someone is going to get a nice riding bike.

Rather than take up bandwith on BF here are links to complete photos.

Testors and Model Masters enamels from hobby shop: two shades of silver with a little blue, green, and brown added. Match isn't perfect but darn close. Frankly I obsessed a little more than necessary.

In a previous job at a sign and display house I was the "go to" guy for matching difficult paint colors. I was also a hand letterer (signwriter).
