Durkopp track bike
Here is the Drukopp track bike I mentionned in an other thread. If anyone could help me date that bike it would be nice. I think it could be from the 50's but It is only a guess. Also there are tange tubing decals on the frame, I have a strong feeling that these were added at the same time someone decided grey would look good on this bike. If I have it repainted its going to be all black with simple white lettering, what o you think?

Frame looks old, parts don't (Italian spindle?).
Might send some pics to Ted Ernst on the CR list, he really lived that old track stuff.

Thanks, the parts are 100% non original, mosty japanese (some came with the bike others from the parts bin) . The bb is actually Campagnolo, says 1370'' X 24 (british thread???).
If money was no object having the rear triangle chromed would be extremely nice. If I get the frame repainted I might give lug outlining a try, probably gold...
