I've seen one of those videos before. You will need a time machine to go back to May 8, 1955 and join their club ride.

If we would all embrace the "slow movement" perhaps clubs like this would reappear. Banned would be brifters and helmets. No pink jerseys and white bike shorts. Wool sweaters, caps, and knickers would rule. I'm starting up a chapter today. Throwing out my clipless pedals and bike shoes. The good old days of happy slow touring are back!

Hope I can get the Metra to outfit a train with a bike "van".

The club has already started. www.3speedtour.com 1 hour south of Minneapolis every May. I went 3 times and am going again this year.
