Counterfeit Colnago?

We have a debate going on over in SS/FG about the authenticity of my recent impulse buy. Ebay link is here
I think we've ruled out it being a competition. But beyond that, might it be a low level non-US frame or is it simply a decent enough frame with some decals slapped on.

Seems like it could be real, but not the top-of-range if it's Thron...with all those shots, how come not one of the Columbus decal? Graphics seem a little odd, but the dropouts & fork ends are stamped with genuine-looking stampings. I'd like to see a clear shot of what appears to be panto engraving on the lower head lug...and that's the only panto I see anywhere, too, also a bit odd.

I am almost thinking it might be a real, albeit low end, colnago with a fresh paint job and decal set. It does not have any columbus markings which I also thought was fishy.

I posted over on SS/FG...

It is a Colnago Classic which is sort of the equivalent of an older "Super" but probably closer to the "Export". Some of them are built with Zona but carry a Columbus "Colnago Special" tubing decal. Your paint does not look factory but the frame and fork look real to me.

This bike comes from Belgium. The local importer/distributor has his own paint booth and brings in the frames unpainted from Italy and with Ernesto's blessing and contractual accord allows them to be painted. This is therefore a 100% legit frame with original Colnago paint.
