ID Info Help: Global 10
I bought it from Craig's List for $35. I can not find any such manufacture on the net. I found a accessory supplier with the name Global, but they don't have complete bikes,at least now.
60cm steel lugged frame,Suntour Honor in back, Suntour Free Spirit in front, old style center pull brakes, Only two braze ons for rear brake cables.
I am most likely going to convert it to a fixie.
Any Info would be a Help!

You can date your components by going to this site:
https://vintage-trek.com/
The Spirt and Honor were lower end components (although they work just fine).
Is there any indication of the steel used? A serial number anywhere?

As for the frame stamped on the bottom of the bottom bracket is SM (80 7 1779) I used info form the Trek site and the stated stamps are not apparent on the front or Rear Derailler. They appear to be original,so they would be pre 1972? The stamed number on the frame I had a hunch may have reprsented year 80/ month july /1779Th bike.
with a potential of 1778 others out there, Just makes me more curious, Global what happend

Death fork? Naaaah!!
Looks like a bike-boom special. Early-mid 70s.
The Honor and Sprint DRs were at the lower end of the Sun Tour lineup.
