Soubitez 89
Hey has anyone used a Soubitez 89 dynamo/light combo, i just purchased a used set on ebay. I'm wondering how well they work and how much drag is associated with them.
I'll probably give it a good polishing before putting it on the bike.

I used to use those on a lot of my bikes way back when...
The drag is about the same as the other wheel driven generators of the era, the light output is going to be minimal compared to most of the stuff available today. FWIW once I discovered S-A dynohubs I never looked back
and with the modern retro lights... Still is is a nice looking C&V add on.

I used one of those eons ago, and it did drag quite a bit. I much prefer the light output of my cheap LED light and the battery lasts forever.
