Gotta love the vintage parts pile...

Fresh from Dr. Fronkenstine's Lahborehtorry:

An award of being able to tout oneself as having wasted the most time looking at any photo here at C&V goes to the BF member that can spot and name all the components on this machine that date earlier then 1990 (or are likely to have come from something pre-'90, but cannot be definitively dated).

Happy hunting...

It only took 2 seconds to spot the front q/r is on the wrong side. No time to name the parts now though.

Yep. Provides about the same amount of braking too.

Indeed, but it isn't the wheel I intend to flip this thing with. You think I'd sacrifice that Miche Competition and Mavic GP-4 rim?

Is the front wheel per or post 1990?

But I'll go, front brake lever and caliper as well as the cranks, handlebars, stem and maybe the seat and tires... and maybe the guerciotti sticker.

Don't know if the front rim is pre-'90, but consider it as such - the Miche hub laced to it is likely older.

>front brake lever - Correct
>caliper - Correct
>cranks - 50% correct, one side off a modern MTB
>handlebars - Correct
>stem - Correct (1984)
>saddle - Correct (1984)
>tires - Sharp eye you have, the rear is a slightly used Trek ISO tire that I bought NOS (one local Trek dealer has tons of these, NOS) about 5 months ago. Mid-late '80s.
>Guerciotti decal - Repop

There are still two things hidden there that you haven't spotted yet, although I think you're well on your way to that award...

Sent.

Please have a forklift ready to transport the heavy weight of the crate containing the original components.
