Name the Peugeot!

I'm hoping someone will help me out here. The thing is I've been offered this Peugeot bike and would like to find out more about it. What year it is, model and how much would you be willing to pay for it? Thanks!

Its hard to say.....

1. There were no Vivid Blues made with DT shift levers.
2. There were no Peugeots made with those brake levers during the time period of 'stripes' decals ('82-'85)
3. Rear brake caliper isnt original

That being said it most closely matches a 1983 PH10S. Price? You'll find most here wont comment but, someone recently sold a lesser Peugeot (all original) with some add-ons in Santa Barbara for $150+

I haven't got a clue, but I'd insist that the seller take $25 off the price because
of the saddle.

That looks like it potentially has a full SLJ derailleur and shifter set... Which would be worth 150 alone parted out on the bay... so I would not hesitate to drop 150 on it assuming that is correct, but would need better photos to confirm... If I know I can't loose money on it by parting it out than it's usually worth it.

It does appear to be a 1983 model. It also resembles the Galibier.

Colorwise there is a similarity but the catalogue mentions Vitus tubing and Nervex lugs. The mystery continues...

I'm fairly certain its the '84 PH10L. That decal schem was only used from '82-'85. Only 1 model had in '82, none had DT levers in '83 and it was used on 3 models in '85 so were looking at an '84-'85 with DBS joints and downtube levers in vivid blue. Top picture with middle picture color.
