    Peugeot px 10??

    i found what appears to be a px 10 on cl...

    the guy says it's a 68 but he also says it's completely chrome plated...

    i thought these things were always white...do you guys know anything about chrome plating?

    Hi, Lisa, if you provide a link we can check it out and maybe have something to say about the bike. What are your questions about chrome, specifically?

    I have seen the PX10 in blue, red and black but never chromed. Of course it would be possible to have a complete frame chromed. Get some pics if possible.

    We'll need a link. Lower level models are commonly identified as the PX model. The frame should be largely braze on free at that vintage, maybe a cable stop on the drive side stay.

    At a minimum, a 1968 will have Simplex dropouts and fancy Nervex lugs.

    I have never seen an all chrome PX, and at that vintage (or earlier) I've only seen them in blue and white. Aftermarket "modifications" are possible.
