DROOOOOOL. I think I could spend a month pouring over every detail of this collection if given the chance.

My God
I think that "Bild 105" is worth more than my whole collection....
I'm not familiar with Leo Moor. Do you know this guy? What a great collection. I'd feel conflicted about how many I could actually ride though, so I guess I'm happy that I'm nowhere near that scale....

Link came from a post on the CR list, knew I had to share it over here. Word has it that he is a metal worker who does the racks for a lot of the pro teams, and thus has a lot of connections. If this is true or not, has not been confirmed.

Can anyone ID Bild 118--what looks to be an early Raleigh cross bike. Was this frame cross specific?

Cross frames have of course been around for a long time, and I'll bet you could special order one from Raleigh/Ilkeston well before that one was built. ( I have a Jack Taylor Tour of Britain cross bike circa 1973). With the canti braze-ons, the frame is most certainly cross-specific. The tag identifies it with Eric Vanderaerden, who rode for the Panasonic road team in the mid-late-80's, beginning in 1984. Since Panasonic was on Merckx bikes by 1986, I'm betting the frame is from 1984 or 1985.

Wow, thanks for sharing the link! What a collection!
I spotted something odd to me with Bild 114....two bikes have their forks reversed in direction, with stems supported and sliding bar mounts.
Anyone know what's up with these?

Probably track bikes special made for endurance record attempts, if it's the bike and the event I'm thinking of. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Those are Stayer bikes - used for motorpaced track racing where the rider tucks up behind a motorcycle, hence the reversed fork. They still run those events.
