Campy 8 speed hub woes

Hi,

I have just finished building up a nice italian steel frame with Campy 8 speed gear. Pic attached.

To my disappointment the cups in the rear Vento hub are fairly well worn. The hub has 20 spokes which seems to be a rare pattern. I want to save the wheels - but how???

Any tips much appreciated.

Cheers,
Harry.

What do you mean by "fairly well worn"? Are they pitted or cracked?
If not, I'd just clean them out, replace the grease and bearings with new, and adjust as best as possible.
If they are, I know that cups for these hubs were available in the past. You could extract the old ones and press in new ones, if you can find them.
