She lights up!

I posted this find recently and took some time to check her out tonight. The generator, headlight and taillight work!
She only need some light work with simichrome and some light compounding to bring her to show readiness. She's one of two bikes I'm taking to the show in Leesburg on the weekend of June 6th this year.
There is a number stamped on the non drive side dropout - would that help date her?

That's an unusual contact on the generator bottle.

It's got a black hood covering one side. The business end is standard issue.

I've been looking for a pair of those brake lever covers in black. I used to see them all the time on eBay. Now that I want some I can't find them.

I hope you're going to fix that brake cable before the show.

I am trying to restore a similar Peugeot but the front light is missing a part. I have never seen a complete one so am not sure what is missing. In the photo attached, the red arrow points to where the part goes. Is it just a bolt?

I pulled the same set of fenders with rear rack off a 5 speed Motobecane I found at the dump a while back. Unfortunately the lights and generator had been stripped. They are now on my Schwinn Traveler. I always wondered what the lights looked like. Thanks!

The front fender stay loops through that hole.

Yes, I've got to replace the brake cable housing. I don't like the frayed cable ends either. When I remove the Mafac Racer calipers to see about fixing that I'll be able to clean up the fork and put a high shine on the calipers. It's fortunate that I like polishing things up.
I know how much grief newcomers [though I'm not new here] get when asking what a bike is worth - but I'd appreciate any PMs with suggestions for a show price. I have an idea of what I could clear selling the parts. I'm thinking of listing it as highest offer over $xxx dollars.
