Fitchel & Sachs 3spd indicator chain

I am looking for a indicator chain for a F&S Torpedo Dreingang 3spd C/B hub. Can I use an indicator chain from the newer SRAM hubs(Sram 3x7)? I found a correct one online but I like to purchase parts local first if possible.

i'm not certain, but i think there were two types of indicators for these hubs..
there is one with very skinny threading and there is another with a more normal threading..
this one is interchangeable with sturmey-archer type indicators..

so if you don't have any s-a type indicator spindles lying around, it might be worth asking your local shop to dig in their piles.. they usually have something they'll get rid of for a dollar or two

i culd be totaly wrong though too.. i'm going by foggy memory here and i've only worked on these hubs a few times...

I have tried the S/A chains. Too big of threading. I probably will order the correct one online

The Sachs 3 speed actuator rod has real small thread diameter - like 2 mm. I had the op pin break in half, and trying to find/make one was impossible.
