Clunk,tick noises.

My balloon tire speed is making lots of noises in the archer hub on the rear wheels, it bothers me lol anyone know the problem? also, I found this, I might get it but 27 inch is huge for me but it's very nice https://www.usedottawa.com/classified...ory=road-bikes

sturmey archer hubs always click in certain gears..
if it's too loud, oil it through the oil port

Your thingamabob where it connects to the whatchamacallit needs to be lubed with some maidenoil.

That's right - fill with oil until the bearing grease leaks into the hub and jams the clutch return spring. Won't work right, but it won't make any noise either.

Must use maidenoil, otherwise the ticking will come back.

Check that, VIRGIN maidenoil, otherwise you're wasting your time.

Mkay thanks, poor bikes gets driven hard, it proberly wasn't used to the distance I push it to everyday.
