I'm thinking of purchasing this bike? What is an appropriate price and what can you tell me about this bike? Thanks very much in advance!

It's a low end bike. A bit heavy. Where do you live? Try craigslist in your area and check a few garagesales. Look for something with more aluminium to it.

I wouldn't give more than $10 if it was ridable with good tires that hold air, and gears that shift perfectly. It's not a bit heavy, it IS heavy, hehe. Unless you're desperate to save gas, don't bother.,,,,BD

ah thank you very much for the advice. I saw it on craigslist for $20. I think I will hold out for better- saved me a 30 minute drive to look at it!

Great, so you ask about the same bike and get all the answers. I ask and everyone ignores my thread.
If you are interested in vintage bikes, we should hang out and ride some time. I'm just north of New Haven.
