Could someone give me the email or number from Rene Rosendahl by pm?
I contacted several bike shops in Amsterdam, they knew about the brand but nothing more than that..
Cheers

Last summer I encountered a Stephi-Sport for sale on the Waterloopplein market. It was offered by a stand that sold old racers and mountainbikes to a mixed audience. It was a nice yellow bike with Nuovo Record and centerpulls. The price was attractive, especially compared with the example under the link, but unfortunately it was much too small for me

almost all of The latest additions to velociao bikeshop from berlin were from a Dutch collector who used to live in germany. Enjoy: https://www.flickr.com/photos/oldsteelracer/

it says Jan de Bruin on the DT... which is weird, since he is listed as another framebuilder on the interwebz, albeit without any other details, and that is off course impossible to track among the millions of Jan de Bruin's out there

Maybe a 'guest-build' for either Rih-Amsterdam or Rih-Venlo. Since both aren't familiar with mtb's this may be a limited edition dating from the (Dutch) mtb-hype. Perhaps Elev12k knows something about this...

Yeah, let's hope he checks in. There's a bike shop called jan de bruin, and I don't think a name like trailseeker would really be a mr. Van der Kaaij thing, so I guess it's Cove build.

There is an authentic 'Rockfever' advertised on Speurders since ages. Seller does want quite a lot money imo. It is not a very high end bike.

My Jan de Bruin RIH below. A Cové built 'Speciaal' touring bike.
Not sure if it is the same Jan de Bruin though. This one's most probably the bike shop in Alphen aan den Rijn. (from whom my parents bought 2 Batavus' for me, BTW, one when I was 8 years old or so, the other - a three speed Flying Dutchman IIRC - when I was 14.)

RIH Trailseeker (Jan de Bruin Supercourse)
Hello all, this is my first post here! I saw the RIH mountainbike on marktplaats and couldn't resist buying it. I really like the paint, it's in good condition. Only some marks on the handlebars (which have the same paint, just like the stem). Is there anyone who can tell me more about this bike? I've already contacted RIH but haven't heard of them yet. Here are some (crappy) pictures:

Really cool! I nearly bought it as well, but something came up and I had to pass. Enjoy the ride and welcome to the forums.

Welcome Dutchie020! Thanks for joining and showing your RIH. Judging by the decals (both the RIH and Jan de Bruin ones) my guess is that it came from the same source as my RIH Speciaal in post #943, i.e. Cové. In that case you might not get much of a response from RIH Sport in Halfweg, if that's who you've contacted. Especially when it's called Super Course, a model name that has always been associated with the Westerstraat in Amsterdam.
The bike looks to be in pretty good and original condition, BTW. Congratulations!
