Last weekend I bought a Duell Pilot frame. Yesterday I received my second hand 2x8 speed Campagnolo Chorus groupset. This is the result:















Wish list: remove the Rigida DP18 stickers, silver stem, headset & spacers.

Does anyone know how old the frame might be? It is made of Columbus Thron (there was not much left of the sticker so I ordered a new one), spacing is 130mm, English bb thread, 1 inch threadless headset, bolt on front derailleur and a 27.2 seatpost barely fit in there so I chose a 27.0 seatpost which seems to fit fine.

Got my first track frame. RIH Caballero. Bought it from its 1st owner, Gerard Vianen. Stage winner Tour de France and 2 times stage winner Vuelta. More info about Gerard Vianen at cycling archives Gerard Vianen
He used this one at the Six day championship at the Amsterdam Velodrome in 1967. Also got a nice no-name track cockpit and 2 NOS 151 BCD Campa track rings Finale picture is from Tiemen Groen, but shows complete set up.

That is a nice looking Duell. It would guess it is from around the year 2000.
How does it ride?
I have a 1992 Duell, and I really like the way it feels.

Thanks! I really like the look as well. It has some nice details which I forgot to photograph, such as Jan van Dalen's signature on the fork, top tube, bottom bracket and rear brake bridge. I just came back from a 15k test drive around town. It rides beautiful! The short frame steers really well and the frame is really stiff. The 12cm stem feels a bit too long, but I'll have to test that some more.

A FACT ABOUT MY GAZELLE
A Gazelle AB frame in Reynolds 531c (all tubes) and labelled merely "Champion". This indicates that it was for German export. The "Mondial" was dropped due to a branding infringement in Germany at the time.

QUESTION
During my build (still ongoing) I found that the DT and ST were pinned at the BB shell. Is this common for Gazelle frames? Were some or all AA and/or AB frames pinned? I have four other racing frames and have owned one or two others, but this is the first one I've ever owned that was pinned. The only pinned frames that I have heard of being pinned were specific frames designated for team competition — Services des Courses (For example, some 'watermarked' Vitus 979's were pinned, but mine is a straight production model — jammed and glued.)

Please allow me to indulge myself, I've posted this on the forums before but I'm still loving this bike.
Unsure of the model but it's an old joco, 33135, which I rescued from being turned into a fixie.
Totally restored with a few liberties taken, including full NR groupo and regina freewheel.
Decals sourced for me by non fixie.

two marques that are high on my wish list are Joco and Jabo.
that Joco looks like it's too small based on the seatpost and stem.
I could take it off your hands for you since it looks to be about my size.....

the only other Joco I know of is in Snowshoe WV and belonged
to an old Classic Rendezvous member who I've not seen posting in years.

Here is my Duell frame, ready for its yearly cleaning.
It is a 1992 Columbus SL frame, it was custom made for me. After 22 years and about 100000 km it is still looking good. It does have a few scratches and a little rust but nothing serious.
I even used the bike for a cycling holiday in the UK 10 years ago.

Typically I ride a 55 or 56cm frame. ja I know midget sized especially compared to what the
average Dutch frame size is on Marktplaats (I think 60cm is avg!).
