Deal of the day - tubes, $2 each

I actually took this ad to Performance, and they price-matched.....

I just get sick of the routine when I buy something there:

"Are you a Team Performance member?"

"No."

"Would you like to join?"

"No."

"Then I need your name and address."

"No you don't, I do NOT want to get on your mailing list."

At this point, they look at me as the biggest jerk in the world, then ring up my inner tube or whatever other small part I am buying. Then I leave telling myself to go somewhere else next time, like REI where one $20 membership is good forever. (I already have one of those).

For some reason, that reminds me of a local shop I no longer deal with. Went something like this:

"Are you a (team name) Investors member?"

"No."

"Do you have at least $200 dolla's to make us holla's?"

"No."

"Then we need your name and address."

"I do NOT want wrecked Royal Endfields dumped at my house."

"Get lost, bi***"

Not necessarily from one single conversation, but I can recall most of those phrases as being part of the commentary that took place at that shop.

Yep, I prefer a shop who just wants my money.

Man, you guys are a grumpy bunch today. All I did was post a link to Pricepoint for $2 innertubes, and it turns into a Preformance b!tch-fest.

Sorry.........

No, we're just venting at shops instead of the newbies
