7-Eleven Serotta Murray Eric Heiden
Somebody who found my blog page about 7-Eleven bikes HERE e-mailed me claiming he has Eric Heiden's Serotta Murray - the one he won the USPro on in 1985. He's ridden it but it's too big for him and he wants to sell it and asked me for advice.
I told him not to post here until he's read the rules but gave him a link and also a link to the Serotta forums.
He says it's probably the same one in the attached photo.
He also says he has provenance from Serotta, all original components (some have been swapped on the bike but he still has the originals).
But he didn't say what size it was or how he got it, and he didn't have any photos.
I figured it would be more interesting than the typical "how much is my bike worth?" thread.

Hey man.. I posted here before reading your reply. I used to race cat 4 in Milwaukee while ni H.S. and bought the bike back then for my Gitane and cash. I'll add pix here as well. It's a custom frame which I haven't measured but will add that info with the photos.
