Pepto Pink Univega Pictures
Here are the pictures of the Univega Mixte I bought for 10.00. I thought it was purple - Not. Anyhoo, here is what I want to do to this bike. I want to put a mustache bar and bar end shifters on it, I'd like to put a triple on it because of the mountain I live on or lower the gearing considerably. Fenders are a must. It has Steel rims, will they be a problem or fine for a winter beater? It has Diacompe brakes on it. Do I need to do anything with them other than new pads and cables and aero levers?
The serial # is M6-A1010 if that means anything to anyone, please share.
I think the rear derailer is toast. It doesn't want move out of the 2 small rings, but when it does, it throws the chain into the wheel.
Where do I start? I have tools to do most of these things but no parts.
