Expensive Hi-Ten frameset

What do people make of this ebay sale?

I've been buying some old Fuji's recently, kicked my europhile habit (got too expensive and wasn't fun anymore), and I'm still trying to figure out what would have driven the price up that high for this frameset. Shill bidding?

I think that price is crazy high, but the near-perfect paint, UJB pedigree, and fixed-gear potential (with what looks like semi-forged horizontal dropouts) would make it attractive. Note that most of the bidding was driven up by folks with little feedback until a nostalgia sniper swooped in at the end.

Perhaps it was the spectacular sea foam color??? Seriously, I love the color!

I made that term up! Looking at the pic of those dropouts, they look like stamped steel with extra material around the axle opening. Odd stuff.

Crap - I sold two of those, one complete, one in pieces, for $150 and $65, respectively

Nothing redeeming about these Fuji Grand Tourings in the least bit. They ride dead, and they don't look good either.
