Raleigh Carlton Super Course 12 serial #?
Hi,
I just recently acquired a Raleigh Carlton Super Course 12. I believe it was made around 79' - 80'. The serial number is WG0003055, but stamped over the second zero is an S with a sideways orientation. I hope to get a pic of it posted. Does this serial number make any sense to anyone?

Found some information
I found a chart that tells me it was manufactured at the Carlton plant May of 1980, but I'm still not sure what the sideways "S" is for. Mis-strike maybe?

Might have been better to continue the discussion in your previous thread.
