I caught a sale early this year on the Hutchinson Fusion 2s for less than $15 each. I like the tires, wish I had bought a few more.....

I bought Kenda K35s for my 27 inch rims. They were cheap ($5 each) and so far have been a decent tire. I needed wire bead, as my 27 inch rims are hookless. The Forte tires are not wire bead, so they are only good for hooked rims.

If I were to try to enter some amateur races on this one (perhaps with lighter tires and/or wheels), would it be totally outpaced by today's carbon bikes?

The lady i got the bike from used to race it, but that was 20 years ago
