Decals, please...
Some philistine removed the Reynolds 531 decal from the 70's vintage Falcon San Remo I just acquired. How could they? Time was when that little green, gold and black sticker with the slanted 531 was the most prestigious bit of artwork a cycle could carry.
Anyway, are the 70's vintage Reynolds decals available? I wouldn't mind finding the original Falcon decals either, but that's probably asking for too much...

I've seen the decals on e-bay. My understanding is that
alot of places are loathe to part with them due to some
unethical folks foisting fake 531 bikes on the unsuspecting public.
The other place I would try is a local framebuilder, or
a restoration specialist like cycleart. If you need
links, etc. send me a PM.

I bought some French-language 531 decals from Nick at Lloyds in England. No problems with his shipping to the USA.

I've also seen them at yellowjersey.org, but they're getting rare.

Try these guys. They painted my vintage Reynols 531 Trek and had the decals from that era.

would it be possible to reprint the stickers at a printing shoppe, or would that void the classic restoration bc they wouldnt be originals?

Any restoration that involves a repaint has repro decals. Well, maybe not all as there are NOS decals out there but repop decals are quite common and appropriate.
The "true" preservationist tries to avoid the respray, preferring the patina of age. Many others, myself included, would rather hava an "as new" finish.
Your bike, your $, your choice.
