CLB Competition brake set dating

I'm presently looking for brakes for the 1950 Hetchins I bought recently

I've got a set of Campag SR brakes that I could fit but I think GB, CLB, Mafac or Universal of the period would look much nicer. With the help of Velobase (a million blessings for the sheer usefulness of that site) I've noted that the CLB Competition look nice and are from the 1950s.

There's a set for sale on ebay but they puzzle me. Whereas the Comps on Velobase has CLB engraved in the calliper arm, this set looks like it has it cast in a little recess and doesn't look as nice. Also, the casting on the set for sale looks rough compared to the set on VBase. Are they later? Or a cheaper version?

These are the ones on Velobase
