just got a Centurion Super Le Mans frame +parts for $30
Evening, like the title says. did i get my money's worth (not for sure because i'm new to the road scene)? it's a medium size frame ( 54cm -55cm)_planning on repainting it, thinking of a green satin color. also, im planning on making it into a single speed because where i live it's flat.
where can i get decals for it? dont mind if the style if from the 70s or 80s. thanks

You did fine. I think it's a good candidate for single speed, because no shifter bosses on the downtube, no bottle cage bosses, and what appears to be long enough dropouts to allow for some movement and chain adjustment. The frame will be clean and uncluttered.
Those brakes, if you decide to retain them, look like they'll accommodate the switch from 27" to 700c.
I think on that model, you can remove ALL the decals with a hair dryer and slow pulling. After that, you may want to get some cheap auto paste wax, or rubbing compound, and you'll be surprised how clean that frame can be.
Crankset looks pretty clean, drop one of those rings and get the back set how you want, you're in bidness.

mmmm. barends!
Note that Robbie was all over a Centurion thread
Looks like a nice find, especially for $30. I think I have a link around in the ol' favorites for some 27" alloy wheels under $30 each, and some might even be single rears. I'll get back to the thread if I do.
OK, here's the link, didn't any fixed gear single stuff, but is probably worth a call....
