Looks like I'll be keeping this one. I was thinking of maybe powder coating but have never done it on a bicycle, do you guys recommend it or is it better to paint, any people here good with photoshop? I was thinking maybe day glo orange or yellow since they were original colors that came on it.

I think most people would advise the powdercoating, by the way. Painting would be more expensive unless you plan on rattle canning.

I'm partial to the blue myself. Hard to say about powder. For restoration purposes paint is the way to go. But good powder can look pretty damned awsome and is very durable. But you don't always get a good powder job for $50 (I'd be inclinded to say almost never but then somebody will post a beautiful example so...).
