My wife's Fuji Espree
I just finished cleaning it, so I thought it would be a good time to share some pictures.
I built it to her specifications It had to have an upright riding position, a comfortable seat, indexed shifting and a kickstand. http://inlinethumb41.webshots.com/28...600x600Q85.jpg The derailers and hubs are Shimano 600 tricolor. Yes, it has a derailer claw. The Espree wasn't exactly top of the line. http://inlinethumb19.webshots.com/43...600x600Q85.jpg The crankset is a 600 Abaresque. I spent a week stripping and polishing it. http://inlinethumb52.webshots.com/40...600x600Q85.jpg Shimano 600 brakes. The fenders are purple heart and zebrawood from cody672 on eBay. The headlugs are nicely thinned. http://inlinethumb11.webshots.com/14...600x600Q85.jpg http://inlinethumb59.webshots.com/27...600x600Q85.jpg The bag is a Zefal, the rack is a Jim Blackburn, the tires are Panaracer Pasela 28c folding Tourguards, the rims are Mavic MA40 and the spokes are DT Competition. http://inlinethumb42.webshots.com/41...600x600Q85.jpg The shifters are 8 speed Ultegra bar end shifters on Suntour thumbshifter mounts. I staind the cork grips to match the saddle. http://inlinethumb25.webshots.com/64...600x600Q85.jpg |

"A thing of beauty is a joy forever," wrote the poet. You've done the same in metal, cork, and leather. Awesome.
