You know on other forums they have a "Members Wall of Shame," maybe that would help out a whole lot here on bikeforums.

Read about all the horrors of humanity, the atrocious crimes we commit. Then ask yourself if we have the right to confer "dignity," upon ourselves as we do. As if it really refers to us in any way shape or form.

Simple enough here.

Ozneddy has been a forum member for many years.

I only commented to see if there was more than "meets the eye" with this matter.

Just was hoping Ozneddy could hop on and get a chance to clear this up.

It obviously doesn't look that good, but it is important to get all the facts.

mkeller234, I sure hope so, but given the text munga said was in the ad (I hope it was printed to a PDF or a screenshot taken) it sure looks to me like ozneddy tried to pull a fast one.

grady, I really hope someone can come up with a good explanation and I think it behooves ozneddy to explain what happened here. I know that ozneddy has been a member here for a long while, but so have munga and P!N20. They just don't really post on these forums.

Since ozneddy didn't deny what munga said was in his ad, then it appears he did try to flog this bike as something it wasn't. That is NOT cool! I know on the CR list that if someone tries to pull something like this, they are instantly banned from the list. We don't have that kind of system in place here, but word spreads fast in these forums, so I hope there is a good explanation for what happened here.

Yes sir!

I am very careful to judge until I hear the whole deal.

I hope I didn't imply that I didn't believe munga and PIN20.

I just want a complete discussion before I throw this guy under the bus.

Ozneddy, I understand why you want to be defensive. I don't think anyone wants anybody kicked out. I think a private apology to munga and P!N20 might be in order. I just wouldn't try doing that again, it's a really low thing to do.

Leave BF? Nah. This qualifies as an "error in judgment" - of which we have been guilty in our lives - not as a hanging offence. Say three "Hail Tullios," do a "Stations of Cinelli," and go forth and sin no more.

Justify however you like, Ned, but I think you're a dog. I asked you for better photos as the ones in the ad didn't show much one way or another, and you knocked $250 of the price without me even negotiating. Never did get the photos. Kind glad I never met you. If that's your apology I'll accept it, but just remember, the internet is forever. I have screenshots of all of your bikes and I'll be keeping an eye out for you.

Dang you guys are forgiving. I mean I guess at the end of the day it is just a bike but the only reason this came to light is because munga is a good sleuth. I doubt ozfraud would have had this change of heart if he hadn't gotten caught.

Did you tell the buyer that it was a fake? Or just assume that he would "figure it out"?
