Thoughts on the Supersport

I was talking to Kpug today and discussing the not too distant in the future overhaul of the Supersport. As I was mumbling something about the Shimano Nexus he says to me why not use one of the new Sturmey Archer units, BAM another great idea so now my question is does anyone have any experience with the new 5 speed jobs and what might be the downside. They appear to be less money so thats always a plus unless of course they are not as reliable as the SRAM or Shimano pieces. Does anyone sell these already laced or will I have to build them up? I would like to use the existing Araya alloy rims if possible.

Here's a pretty good comparison of IG hubs.

I put a Nexus 7 on one of my bikes to use for commuting. So far I really like it.

Does the Archey need a fancy proprietary shifter assembly like the Nexus? I'd like to try the Nexus but then I see there is the added cost of having a special shifter.
