Garlatti Classic Road Bike?

Is this bike vintage/classic enough to be worth the $350 asking price? It's pretty weathered, and doesn't appear to be worth buying as a regular rider, but to restore and collect because it's pretty? Is it worth it?

I'd say its a 70s bike boom bike with those Campagnolo parts, not 60s. Frame is nice looking though probably gaspipe. Sold for about $129. brand new; $350. now seems a little high for what I would pay.

But if you like it, it fits and you can afford it....

Not worth it. One of Campagnolo's lowest-end grouppos, and a typical low-end Italian roadbike - made to look far better then the gaspipe it is. Very nice looking, but not at $350. $100 would be more like it (and you still don't know if the seatpost is jammed or not).

I'd also like to see the brilliant serviceman that ran those brake cables.

As above and also, there are still NOS boxed 1970's examples showing up from time to time for under $400 and in better colors.

I concur, pretty much. It's no older than 1969, if that Valentino Extra rear derailleur is original. The components are typical of your 2nd from the bottom of the line, boom era model, but a couple of things make me think this is may be one notch better. First, off those pads are set really high in the arms, indicating that it was probably originally equipped with tubulars. Second, though the dropouts are stamped, the rear does appear to have an integral derailleur hanger. That's got me thinking that it's a low mid-range, club racer with a good, plain gauge, main triangle instead of hi-tensile steel. The seat post diameter would tell you for sure. I'm thinking it's more along the lines of a Raleigh Supercourse TT or Peugeot PR10, which would put it about $150-$175 circa 1973. The upgraded , Record hubs will add to the price, but it's not worth $350, in my opinion, though I agree that the frame finish is classic eye candy.

Upper mid range perhaps, but the lugwork is not in the least bit smoothed - reminds me of Nervex Pros shoved right out of the box with the flash cleaned off and nothing else.
