Finishing Tape - multistripe

Has anyone found a source for grip finishing tapes? I see several people have inquired about tri-colored (Italian mostly) strips, but I'm after the sort that's more colors and thinner stipes - like the bands on a Paramount Olympic decal.

Any ideas? I could construct my own with elec. tape I know, but there's already enough compulsive behavior in this hobby!

I bought some very off-brand wrap in grey, shiny and padded, and it came with the multi-striped tape.

I wanted more, so I went to a car and truck accessory shop, and they had it in a roll. It's thinner than the finishing tape you want, but you could put it over some wider tape just to finish the look.

I scrapped the idea and went to a home improvement store, bought a multi-roll set of narrow electrical tape in about 7 colors. I can match about anything I want and there's enough for every bike I'd ever want to own. ......... maybe.

So with the multi-roll technique...do you just layer the strips one on top of the next? In that case you'd wind up with a kind of stepped strip - the last color being significantly raised up from the first? I suppose if I wanted to get really crafty I could just cut strips of the tape and lay them flat adjacent to one another on a piece of white electrical tape, then just cover the whole thing with a trimmed piece of clear packing tape. So much work though!

I wonder if the off brand grey you had is the same as mine. Astral?

Just cut the last piece down with a scissors.
