Vintage ATB question

I'm not much of a mountain bike guy, but I recall that this one is well thought of:

http://capecod.craigslist.org/bik/847669349.html

It's in my parents backyard and would fit my elder daughter nicely.
What'cha think?

Well - clean it up and get it working. Why is it on Craigslist if you, the son, want to give it to your daughter? Never mind - I don't want to know. I can't tell what it is with the picture. Further details?

'my parents backyard' as in their neighborhood. Not my bike, or my parents bike.
