I think this one is destined to be repainted and repaired if possible.
Not heard of the Linseed oil cure before but I will do my best to preserve it.
It would be a shame if it were not recoverable, being so early.
No idea about its history before the previous owner who lived very close to me in Gloucester.
Found another very similar, but a little later, on ebay couple of days ago:

Seems to be a few early CBs on ebay just now.
I've never any bicycle with such a big frame, let alone a CB of this era.
As luker says it will be very interesting to see what it goes for.
