87 Centurion Le Mans
So I just bought a new bike, the center of the frame is like a salmon pink, and the ends white. After trying to research this bike, I've yet to see another with this color scheme. Why? It has full Suntour GPX.

I've seen those colors on the 1988 LeMans Proportional. It was quite popular with the female triathlon crowd. However, something is wrong, as GPX was not introduced until 1989. What is the saerial number?

Yes, it means it was manufactured in 1987, but if it was manufactured late in the year, it may be a 1988 model. The 2nd letter in the serial number will tell you which fortnight it was manufactured during.
