How much is my frame worth?
Hey i got this frame for like ten bucks from a salvation army. It is a older Raleigh Rapide im not sure on the year. Its in really great shape beside the fact its got some dust and dirt on it and its poop brown....why on earth would they make a bicycle that color? Is it worth anything? Should i try to sell the thing or jus build it into a spare bike? Im a newbie so please be honest! thanks a ton.

Unfortunately, not a whole lot. It is a lower end bike. Put some wheels on it, ride it, enjoy it but don't expect to make big $$$ on it.

Looks like nice lug work. The gold really offsets the frame color. Looks like it will clean up really well. That should build you a very nice machine.
