Finally have the Centurion running smooth
HI,
Its a good feeling when the gears shift with light pressure no nagging chain skip, it turned out the rear cog was worn out, the chain was replaced and it stil skipped and had the derailer checked it was perfect, so I ordered a new freewheel cog from nashbar, it went on very easily at the LBS, and I rode it 32 mile today, not a single gear problem and the bike feels like warm butter when it rolls, wow.
I was tailing a group and it was so quiet they couldn't even here me coming .
I could hear all the clicking cassetes and derailers on the other bikes ...
When it works its a good feeling.
I am adjusting to the Biopace chain ring it feels weird at first but my knees aren't whining so it may stay..
It took a while but I feel it was worth it , And I love the color of the Centurion frame..
DOug
