Help compare these two bikes
Me and my girlfriend bought these two bikes recently. She wants to use one (the lower end) as a comuter and the other one for weekend rides. The problem is that I can't really tell which one of the two is better since I'm not familiar with the components on each one.
The first one is a Bianchi Limited ~90 with Colombus CroMor
Shimano Sport LX gruppo 12 spd
Exage Sport pedals, brakes and levers.
Shimano 105 Headset
FiR EL 19 rims on exage sport hubs
The second one is a Miele Uno MS ~91 with Chromoly tubing
Shimano SIS gruppo 12 spd with Sakae SX crankset
Shimano brakes, 600 levers.
Deda piega drops
Ambrosio rims on Sansin hubs
I would like to know what you think of those two bikes, which one is better and why. The Bianchi is slightly lighter than the Miele and my guess is that it as better components but I'm not 100% sure.

I have a soft spot for Mieles, so I'd keep it as the weekend rider, but in reality they're probably very close to the same level of bike.
Both of them are really nice bikes though, I'm curious as to how your girlfriend scored two bikes of that calibre. Are they both her size?

I concur - I would rate them very close in quality.

What I really mean is, the Miele is absolute garbage and you should mail it to me immediately, so I can properly dispose of it.

I'd use the miele for the commuter, simply because the bars go higher and it looks like it has a 39T compared to the bianchi's 42T.

Really, neither of these should be used as beater bikes. They're both good bikes in good shape.

yeah, the stem/bars on the miele have been changed because the bike was a bit to small for the last owner. I already have a nitto the right size that is going on there. I'll keep the bars thought even if they are not from the same era of the bike.
I found those bike on craigslist from different owners. She paid 270$ for the two, a little bit more for the bianchi. They both need some adjustment but camed with almost brand new tires and bar tape. No scratch on them as they were both leisure bike use only once in a while for all those years.
I wonder how the Shimano SLX and SIS compare to lets say a 105 gruppo.
