Need help finding Miyata 1000 parts
I'm doing some part scouting and having trouble with my budget restoration here..

I have most of the main components, however, I cannot find the single most important part that defines this classic touring legend; the carriers. According to the brochure I linked above, they came standard on all 1982 Miyata 1000s. At some point my Miyata lost it's carriers. =(
If anyone can assist me in finding an original (or replica) pair, I would be infinitely grateful.

looks like a great SS cross bike, why would you need carriers for it?

Nitto would work nicely, but they're not cheap. You can try here. Or just look for a Blackburn or nitto at your LBS or on eBay.
