Help with identifying this bike???
I recently came across an old bianchi frame that I am thinking to rebuild. Apparently the model is "super circa" made in japan in the early 80's, but unfortunately there seems to be very little info on any of these japanese made bianchi's and absolutely no info at all on the super circa. I torn apart google trying to find any mention of these bikes with little success. I found some threads on this forum from a few years back with people asking the same kind of question, but not much was said. Any info at all would be appreciated!

If you post pics, the serial number, brand and model of major components and tubing, we should be able to determine the model year, approximate cost, and relative position in the line-up.

My apologies, you did say it was a frame. I should not have asked about components.
The pic is too low resolution to see any details. I don't see any evidence of a tubing decal. There does not appear to be bosses for shifters or bottles. I also cannot see if there is an integral derailleur hanger on the rear dropout. Is that a Piaggio decal on the seat tube?
If you could verify the above details, that would help. Besides knowing the serial number, the other pertinent information would be to know the size of seat post that fits the frame.

Sorry for starting up my old thread again. I've been working to rebuild this frame and just out of curiosity, i have still not been able to ID. I have some more information, it is a steel frame, but surprisingly light. It originally had down tube shifters, and according to the guy i bought it from, it originally had all campy parts. I believe it was made in japan, however there were no stickers or stamps of any kind to confirm this. Also, the few stickers that were still on the frame were so scratched that i could not read them at all. The sticker on the seat tube was gold in color. I've torn apart the web and have yet to actually find a bianchi with the same style decal on the down tube.
Any info on this frame would be great. As far as i can tell, it might be somewhat rare???

Also, i forgot to mention in response to T-mar's reply, there are bosses for a bottle cage on the down tube, and there is a hanger for rear derailer.
Im currently in the process of powdercoating the frame in a similar color to the original. I will be sure to post a pic when i am finished.
