Brake Reach on '88 Peugeot?

Yeah. So I think the reach on my '88 Peugeot Bordeaux is of the "short" variety: 39-49mm. I don't want to take either the fender or the caliper off to measure (yup, I'm that lazy). Anyone know off hand if my guess is right?

Thanks y'all!

I would think that you could measure it within +/- 5mm without removing anything.
