Frost River Bags (No More?)

Anybody know what happened to Frost River, the maker of vintage outdoorsman-looking bags (duck canvas and leather)? I went to their site but it doesn't load what used to be there. Just curious.

interesting, i was in Duluth, MN about a month and a half ago, i tried to stop in their store. the door was locked during normal business hours, I called their phone number and i got a "voice mail is full" message. I asked the storekeeper next door what the story was and she said "I haven't seen anybody there for a few weeks". It's not looking good.

too bad, I ended up buying a backpack from the duluth pack store instead. too bad they don't make bike bags, their quality is really high.

i will add that they're not selling anything on ebay either, which they used to have tons of auctions going.

I've been wondering the same thing myself for a couple of weeks. Too bad, their stuff was really classy looking.

yeah their store looked really cool from the outside, I had money in hand and was ready to buy one of their Duluth Packs, but ended up getting one from the Duluth Pack Store instead.

FYI Looks Like they're back in business. Not sure I'd trust them with a web order though. I think they're selling stuff on ebay though.
