i originally posted this in mechanics thread, but...
i live by the rule of n+1 4ever, but i got alot of bikes. in my two bedroom house, i have my wife's mountain bike, the NEXT mountain bike she bought me (thanks babe) and my full on cruiser, dripping in chrome. occasionally ride the mtn bikes, and the cruiser for ... cruising. they sit neatly out of the way in the living room.
in my spare room, i have my multispeed cruiser for comuting and this red "saw-it-on-the-side-of-the-road-on-sale-one-day-on-the-way-to-work" cruiser. the red cruiser is secondary work comuter and the other black cruiser when i just want to blind my co-workers with chrome.
now the bikes aren't really in the way, and if i had a garage, basement or good lockable shed to store them, maybe two would go out there. my other 12 bikes are kept at my other place 50 miles away and i only get out there twice a month. wish i could have them all here at my main house.
do i truely have too many bikes? is it so wrong that i want more? how many of you out there have your own flock? would another one be too much? nah!
