Once I had my Lotus Mixte.. one Japanese mixte didn't seem like enough.. and sooner than I wanted a Suteki came along. Now, like most people, I'd never heard of a Suteki -- but the "Made in Japan" sticker and the Shimano 600 components (well, except for the Shimano Tourney brakes and the Shimano Adamas pedals) called out... and depsite her Sears heritage (she originally sold there for $499 in 1982) so she came home.
Meet the newest geisha: Suteki (her front fender is off at the moment -- I'm touching up its scrapes with nail polish).
Although, she does have these weird dork nuts covering the rear spindles that I MUST get rid of:
My first gift to her was the new Crane (Made in Japan) Bell recommended to me on my "ding ding ding" thread"

Miss Suteki also captivated my assistants (Raleigh Sprite the tortoiseshell and Zebulon the Labradoodle):
I'd love to know more about the Suteki -- all I know now is that they were made by Panasonic for Sears.
