70-something peugeot something
Mid 70s and i think thats a reynolds sticker.
The cranks don't look familiar, but black painted head lugs and clamp on DT shifters suggest nicer. Looks like there are no braze-ons. But rear triangle is not chromed.
Also interesting is the 3color stripes surrounding the downtube logo instead of 5, suggesting an uncommon market.
Its my size and i dont have a yellow bike yet, what do you guys think?

I don't see any skewers.
Makes it harder for bandits to make off with your rims without dem skewers.

I think it's a PR10, #2 below the PX10 and a very nice bike. The 3 main tubes are Reynolds 531. Is it just the picture angle or is the front tire really close to the downtube?

If you couldnt tell by the image format and no details it is a craigslist post, I am having my associate in that town pick it up for around $100. Thats a steal for any peugeot in the NW. The people who are selling it commonly pick up 5-10 bikes at a time and take them to the local college to try to get bikes to the students.
I am worried about the front wheel as pictured, but it could be a mismounted wheel, the camera angle or something arbitrary. I will have the frame checked for wrinkles before money is handed over.
What threw me off of the PR-10 is the cranks, that chainwheel is so foreign looking to me.

1971 according to serial. But it should be 74 at earliest
simplex dropouts. Sugino cranks, suntour front DR, simplex rear DR, simplex shifters, AVA handlebars, MAFAC brakes. no markings on the rims, rear hub is marked "sunshine" (japanese?)
fork is straight, as is frame. however there is a tiny bit of air space between the downtube lug on the headset side. only on the internal edge of the lug though, and i see some paint inside the crack so it doesnt look like damage.
images to come when roommate returns with camera.
EDIT: ARAYA wheels (japan again)

Sunshine is AKA Sanshin, the people who made hubs for Suntour. If you're going to be a Peugeot fanatic, first thing is to spell it right.
