Is this classic/vintage? Photos. Specialized Epic

I picked this Specialized epic frame up at the trexler swap . The seller said he bought it new in 1995. Is 13 years classic/vintage? The sticker says carbon fiber. Looks the the tubes are cabon and the lugs are aloy. I realy like the paint. I need to find a fork (hint hint).

This is historically important, although not particularly "vintage". They were very good riders, although the ones that I had interface with broke, so be careful with it (no crashes!). I think it is a 1994; I think that that was the last year of the old model (they reintroduced it after the turn of the century). It had a Specialized Direct Drive aluminum fork. Came stock with Campy Stratos. I'd recommend watching on eBay for the necessary Chorus parts from this era...they are pretty cheap right now.

Hopefuly no crashes. Why is it historicaly important? I have campagnolo record derailers I am going to try and use. Shimano 105 brakes. And campagnolo something with a V crank with triple chain rings. the head set is dura ace.

My friend has the same exact bike. It's built with a SHimano 600 groupo and he loves it.

Lugged carbonfiber is very rare. the only thing I have seen lugged is steel. it was only at the beginning of CF before they figured out how to makeit make turns and hook up with other tubes, that they lugged it.

Someone here on the forum, I forget who, posted a picture of their Epic which has been made into a very nice looking single speeder. I like the looks of this bike a lot.
