Will new Shimano pedals mount on any bike with old Shimano pedals?
I'd like to use pedals like these on my Diamondback/Centurion Master TG that used to have 105 pedals and now has some cheap, clunky pieces of crap someone probably threw on for commuting. I'm planning to use it as my first Triathlon bike next year and it'd be nice to use some newer pedals for a change.
My question is - can new Shimano pedals mount easily where older Shimano pedals used to be?
Thanks

Yes. The standard pedal threading has been 9/16" x 20 for a ridiculously long time now.

+1 ... I have cranksets (Campy, Sugino, and Shimano) going as far back as the early '70's which take modern pedals, of all makes (Shimano, Ritchey, Wellgo), without a problem. Now, if you had a really vintage FRENCH bike ...
