+1 I have owned (for a period) 6 vintage touring framesets that were all 62/63cm frames. Most of them had a top tube well under 58cm (most were actually 55-57cm). One of those a 83' Nishiki Seral has a 60cm top tube and it is the only one I kept for myself. I searched for probably close to two years before I found a big touring frameset with a long top tube. I don't know what many of the vintage bike manufacturers were thinking pairing 62cm framesets (touring or not) with 57cm and under top tubes. Apparently they think every tall person has the dimensions of a T-Rex.

If anybody finds a vintage touring frameset that is 62cm or bigger with a 60cm or longer top tube let me know because I want it.

I'm looking to replace a tange levin headset on an old frejus for something a little more period correct (late 50's-60's, 70's ok)

I have a nice set of scott twin cam dual-sided clipless pedals and and/or some "andrew jacksons".

Please drop me a pm if you have something in the parts bin that works well.
Thanks

Look at my list(s) and maybe something there is worth a spare cage or two....
I have a quill seat post kicking around, let me see what size it is and I will get back to you.

I'm looking for low-mid level 54-59 cm frame for a winter bike build. See p. 107 of this thread for what I have to trade and my other needs.

I have a Silca floor pump...probably 20 or 25 years old, it was from the first year that they sold them with the plastic handle because they had wood and plastic next to each other in the shop and I grabbed the plastic one. It's orange and has the Columbus sticker, in good shape, but probably needs a new presta grommet.

Need:
* 120mm square taper cup and cone BB, Shimano preferred but Suntour/Sugino OK as well. Even the spindle would do. Have sent PM's t various advertised BB's on this thread, but so far no response...=:-(
* Pair (front and rear) mid-80's DiaCompe sidepull brakes. Don't know the model number, but they showed up on almost every brand sold between 85 and 89. They have a slightly longer reach than a 39-49 Shimano of the period (maybe 55) and are nutted. Don't worry about brake shoes- those I've got- but otherwise must be complete.

Have: Stuff. Lots of stuff.

Need: Decent 27in Aluminum wheels, and a #5 spindle compatible with Raleigh cups. Also a decent aluminum crank compatible with said spindle. Doesn't have to be super nice.

Want: Raleigh Twenty folder. Preferably a full bike, but sans parts is permissable.

Have:
Old Velo saddle, Suntour GPX 7/8 speed shifters, cash.

I don't want to pay a lot, but any offers would be nice.

I will check my stuff, I may have both. The brakes my be anodized that funky brown? though.
I am looking for a taller stem with a 26.0 clamp for the old Ross, maybe one for the old Centurion too. Like the Technomic they have at the lbs, but I don't have the 50 bucks.
