Have:
52cm Ironman 1989 Master frame set only, Tange Levin CD headset to go w/fork. No bb, sorry.
Avg condition, and I'll clean it up well. I'll probably include a Nitto stem and bars, maybe a seat post, not much else.....

Need:
Alex black rear wheel w/Shimano hub 700c.
or
Black FG or SS rear wheel 700c with some "v" to it.

Just remember... i have a set of True Temper tubing the usual 09 series with lugs and campagnolo track dropouts. Cinelli fork crown. I would love to sell it but if anybody has a nice italian frame in 55 or 56 to offer i'm open to conversations. What do you have?

Thanks.

My unending admiration for your work, but still be careful with that tile flooring. If your mate Kelly ever wants to sell that boxed frame, please add me to the list of folks who would sell their soul for a shot at it.

Wanted: New or lightly used 1" threaded silver headset, such as Ultegra, Dura Ace, Campy Record or Stronglight A9. Chris King is probably ought of my range, but make feel free to me an offer if you've got one for sale.

Trade- Complete Green Varsity for a Schwinn "World Sport" Frame

I have a nice and complete Green Schwinn Varsity. Got it in a bulk bike buy. Haven't done anything to it, but ride it down the street. Needs usual clean, lube, truing, adjust, replace tires. Bearings spin good. Rims need trued (a little wobble, not bad), chain not rusty. Original seat. Not wrecked in anyway. Rims look good. General thrift store Varsity.

What I need is a "red wine colored", Schwinn 'World Sport' frame. I've got one I've been doing a clean & lube on and noticed the frame is bent. Its not too bad and could be straightened using sheldon browns 'long 2x4 method', (both rear stays are bent to the right), but I'd rather get an un-wrecked better frame.

Anyone need a varsity that can trade me?

Each individual pays shipping for what each receives.

I'm in Omaha, NEBRASKA if you want to come by.

Thanks loads. I ordered a couple of sets, a spare 8s cassette, some bar wrap and a Descent tri suit.
FREE SHIPPING, too. The total price was about 1/2 what the tri suit goes for here.

I don't have one, but the last one I bought was under $14 at Loose Screws, and it was Shimano.

Just checked. All the sub-$20 BB's are Octalink V2's, and the only V1 that they have (the 105's 5500, which would work), is $38.25

Very high-grade sealed cartridge bearings (marked KSK, Japan), the QR skewers are very like American Classics, but I don't think they made these hubs. I'm not ever going to build a vintage Mtn. PM me with what you've got, and if anybody can tell me what they are: THANKS in advance!

Well, those are American Classic skewers, and other than the different color center section, the hubs look to be Am Classics, too. I'm guessing that someone along the line buffed out that center section.

Specialized Rock Hoper Frame/Fork/Bits

1988 Specialized RockHopper. Frame, Fork, and probably whatever bits I don't remove. Paint is shot, small 1/8 ding on toptube. no major rust or structural damage. Canti mounts on fork are shot. Don't have time to build this project how I want. Pic is of whole bike, this is for frame/fork. PM for more pics. 18" C2T, 20" toptube, 30" standover with 26X2.35

I'd like a set of dura ace 7400 cranks in 170, 7400 dura ace calipers, or dura ace aero non brifter levers, but I'm up for any interesting trade ideas

actually based on my little research I'm fairly sure that they ARE Cook Bros. Racing hubs (those Am Classic skewers were sold separately, after all) and since I'm impatient I've gone and eBay-ed the pair...so I'll delete the original swap offer, thanks for looking.

I am looking to trade my Trek 520 for a mid 80's Miyata 1000.
I have decided that since this Trek is new, I would rather trade it to someone who will ride it or keep it as a collectable. I would believe that this is the best example of a late 80's 520 anywhere.
I really believe that it should probably be preserved but that may also be a waste.

Trying to sell my Ciocc. This is the bike I almost got scammed on trying to sell on Chicago CL. 56cm seat tube, 55cm top tube. I would trade for a similar bike 58-60cm, sell outright, or do a partial trade for a steel bike of the latter size with good tubing. I would sell/ trade for the frame and fork, with the Shimano STX headset and Campagnolo Centaur BB that's are installed. Both were new when I installed them. I've ridden the bike about 20 miles since. If you want a full listing of the parts on the build, send a PM.

Also have these pedals, I think they're Campagnolo Victory, with the Cinelli Gran Cidismo toe straps and Campagnolo clips, size Medium-Large.

And I have some MKS AR-8 pedals with MKS clips and straps, size LL, that came off a Bridgestone RB-2.
