It's somewhere in the 60-62 ballpark. I rode it once, SUPER smooth. It's high ten but it isn't overly heavy considering.

ISO:

27.2 aero campy seatpost, 200mm
Any 26.0 clamp quill stem with a removable or hinged style clamp, so I can use ergo bars with a threaded stem. between 80 and 100mm would be ideal.
clamp-on dual cable guide, like so:

I'd prefer Campy, but anything works.

Have:
6400 braze-on FD
6400 Italian threaded BB
640x 8-speed DT shifters
7400 8-speed bar end shifters (remember that these NEED to be used to with DA shifters to shift properly!)
7400 rear derailleur
Campy chorus 8speed rear hub, 32h
Campy braze-on DT shifters, friction only
Campy clamp-on band, you can use campy shifters meant for braze-ons with these.
A variety of clipless pedals, I have some SPD's some SPD/platforms, a set of TIME pedals, all with cleats.
other odds and ends that I cannot remember at the moment, please PM and ask.

ISO/WTB Schwinn Touring Lever

I recently bought a Schwinn Twinn tandem and am trying to find a Weinmann touring lever for the front brake to match the lever for the rear brake. I have an old Weinmann 10-speed lever I'd like to swap, or I'd be happy to purchase the lever directly. I have attached a photo of the one I want to match. Thank you!

You can get functional equivalents from Velo Orange, or Niagara, among others. Not too expensive. Be sure the band diameter matches your bars.

ISO:
700c clincher wheelset
platform touring pedals
mks half-clips
26.8 seatpost (aluminum preferred)

WHAT I OFFER:
Dia-compe G brakeset
Sakae sp-150 pedals
Huret Duopar w/ dark anodized cageGONE
Suntour LD-3700 cyclone dt shifters
Shimano 105 dt shifters GONE
Suntour accushift dt shifters
shimano exage sport dt shifters
some other random loners
Dia-compe AC250G aero brake levers w/ white hoods (dirty, but supple and intact)
Dia-compe drillium shifters, non-aero no hoods
Turbo Saddle, bernard hinault, white. lots of scuffs and wear
Suntour Cyclone clamp-on FD
misc. campy headset bits
some simplex bits
Cinelli Giro bars, 64-42 no cable troughs

The pictures make these bits looks much worse than they are. except the saddle, which is accurately represented. The parts i'm offering aren't pitted away as the grainy photos make them look. some do have old grease in the nooks though. All could use a cleaning before you install them, but i'll leave that to you, that's part of the fun! more/better pictures on request.

Not sure - I doubt it's Dia-Compe because it appears to be original to the bike and I think it's a Chicago bike (I should've gotten the serial #) - I can find out next week (it's at my cousin's bike shop now)

Thanks duffer - I've looked into the equivalent, and they may be my final option, but I'm trying to keep it all original if possible.

ISO: 165 MM Cranks.

If anyone has a set, PM me.

I'd like a set that's fluted, with a relatively normal BCD.

85 Fuji Team, 56cm ctc. Looking to trade for something of similar quality/condition in a size 60/62. Small surface rust on head lug. Frame apears to be full chrome under paint. I'd be willing to let some parts go with it depending on need or trade value. Local trades considered first!

More pics available on request.

Guys, if I can help the deal for redsharkobx, help him get his levers, let me know. He's local, and the bike is really cool. He needs the lever that pulls to a straight bar.

Can't help you with your trade, but I just wanted to make my obligatory "very nice Japanese touring bike" comment.

Very nice Japanese touring bike.

I found your original Find of the Day post about it—very flash bike. I think its a later model than most Shoguns I've encountered, and beautiful just the same.

Thanks! Trolling craigslist pays off if you spend enough time at it. I still can't quite believe how nice the bike is. I mean, it even has a 40-spoke rear wheel. I will ride it, but I find to cockpit a tad short and I have the seatpost up higher than is kosher on a vintage road bicycle. I fit best on 60cm bikes and this is a 56cm.

I'm gonna pick up a 60cm Raleigh Record, but I don't think it's as nice as the Shogun. When I get a better look at it, I'll let you know. Very nice bike, in my size, too. Very likely a Panasonic frame, too.
